Weight training

Hi all!

Lifting weights is the key to weight loss.   You probably don’t believe me, so I’ll rephrase it.  Lifting weights is the key to fat weight loss.  I think most people think there’s a stigma to lifting weights in regard to weight loss.  The usual result is weight gain, but it increases muscle mass and not fat.  When you lift weights, the protein you’ve eaten goes right to your muscles instead of being converted to fat.  Lifting weights only burns off fat while maintaining muscle mass.  This solves a major problem of weight loss.  This is how you lose the weight you want while not losing muscle and strength.  Furthermore, lifting weights before an aerobic exercise burns more calories during aerobic exercise, and you can focus on the areas where you want to burn fat (i.e. crunches before for your stomach).  Still, many people don’t wish to gain any muscle, and, if weight loss is their goal, I can’t blame them.  It’s a fairly easy fix.  All you have to do in this case is high repetitions.  To be exact, 15 repetitions is the number per set if you don’t want to increase muscle mass.  Weights should be a part of any healthy lifestyle.   Think about it.  Have a good day and stay cheerful!
